Understanding The Psychophysiological Correlates
of User Experience in Online Gaming

According to Csikszentmihalyi (1990, 1995, 1997), the construct of user experience can be explained with three basic emotions: boredom, flow, and anxiety. The purpose of this research is to better understand the psychophysiological correlates of user experience in an online gaming context using electroencephalogram (EEG). For the initial stages of this research, we carried out a counterbalanced, within-subject experiment and collected EEG data from total of 32 more.

Reason Support Systems: Improving Conceptualization
by Structuring Information in Logic Webs

All human initiatives rely on conceptualizations, or mental representations used to model reality. Though they serve as the foundation for action, conceptualizations can be flawed, incomplete, irrelevant, or otherwise inaccurate as a result of human biases and limitations. Conceptualizations of complex concepts are especially prone to error because of human limitations to mentally collect, organize, or interrelate many concepts simultaneously (Kahneman 2003) more.
